About the event
Youth Workshop: Farming as a Business
Date: 8–12 March 2027
Join young people from across Northern Uganda for a five-day interactive workshop designed to equip the next generation of agripreneurs with practical knowledge and business skills. Participants will learn climate-smart agriculture, land and garden preparation, crop production, value addition, financial literacy, agribusiness management, and market access.
The workshop will also provide a platform for young people to connect, exchange ideas, learn from experienced farmers and agricultural experts, and build networks for future collaboration. Through hands-on demonstrations and group learning, participants will gain the confidence and skills needed to transform farming into a profitable, sustainable, and resilient source of income while contributing to food security and economic growth in their communities.
