Empowering women to take lead roles in community decision-making and advocating for their rights. Our program focuses on building confidence, knowledge, and platforms for women's voices in Northern Uganda.

Services

We provide comprehensive leadership training, legal literacy workshops, and mentorship circles designed to cultivate long-term advocacy skills among local women leaders.

Projects

Our current 'Voices of Patongo' initiative establishes women's community forums to address gender-based violence and promote equitable resource distribution in the region.

Our Impact

Since inception, we have mentored over 500 women who now hold key advocacy positions, resulting in a 40% increase in female participation in local council meetings.

Northern Uganda Widows and Orphans Support Organisation (NUWOSO) is dedicated to empowering and building the resilience of vulnerable women and children across Uganda.
